Authors note: I’m going to right about the definition of family. Because I love to spend time with my family and so do the greasers.

The Hopes of a Family

We have had those days were your down, mad, or even sad. That’s the thing we all have those feeling but their always a family to make you happy. Family gets you through things just like in the Outsiders. Their real families died or didn’t care about them and that’s when they got a new life by being a greaser. This is a book of great things and I’m going to tell you about it.

I think the greasers are one big happy family, this book talks about the different type of people there are the socs and the greasers. Socs are the people that beat up greasers and they perfect. Greasers is a family not a real family but friends that think they are a family and I do to. These friends are treated like crap in the town but they stick by each other’s sides every step of the way. These guys bring each other up when they are down. They always got each other back and always protect each other.

I think what family means to the greasers is your never left out even if your family doesn’t care about you. They never leave anyone of their kind out. They want to be there for everyone. I think the greasers are happy that more than one person loves them. I think they are also graceful to have a family like that cares so much about you. I think that everyone knew that Johnny cared about them but then he passed away and the team got sad.
