Authors note: I’m writing this to tell you how good it is.
The mix up
In the book thank you ma’am is
a very good piece it is very good my favorite part it’s when she puts him in
the headlock. It is very good but what you don’t know is the twist. The twist
is the boy tries to steal this women pocketbook but she doesn’t call the cops
she puts him in a headlock and she was going to let him go but she doesn’t because
she doesn’t want him to run. So she keeps him and brings him back to the house.
When they get back to the house she
tells him to go wash his face because it is dirty and he doesn’t have a home. So
when he goes to the bathroom he thinks about running but he doesn’t. He washes his
face and he walks back out. The twist was when she brought him home and didn’t call
the cops. Then he doesn’t decide to take the pocketbook and run he walks back
into the room to see what she is doing.
When she gives him food and
something to drink that was weird because he just tries to take her pocketbook
and know she feeding him. In the end the boy got the blue sway shoes he wants which
was really nice of her.
I think this is one of the nicest
women the kid could meet. I think it was really sweet that he gave him money to
buy his blue sway shoes. This is one of the sweatiest things ever.
